During january, kids from underprivileged families have the opportunity to continue learning while having fun through different activities, like music, painting, sports. Escuelita de Verano is located in the school Serapio López in Nosara, and it is founded entirely by donations. The main goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for the kids during the school break since their parents have to work all day and many of these kids have difficult situations at home. The school also give the kids a healthy lunch.
